Hyderabad: National CC’s Md Asaduddin continued to display his belligerent batsmanship as he scored a quick-fire century to shine against Brothers XI while B. Shiva was the other performer to steal the show with his allround performance in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s second division league matches played here on Wednesday.
Batting first, National CC scored 295 with the help of Asad’s top innings before being bowled out in the 61st over. Asad hammered 189 from 124 balls which included 19 fours and 12 sixes. Shaik Sohail of Brothers XI picked a five-wicket haul to emerge top bowler for his side.
In a Group 2 Pool ‘B’ match, Raju CC defeated Osmania and pocketed five points with the help of Shiva’s brilliance.
Using the crease first, Raju Club were bowled out for 230. Anuragh Reddy (67), B. Shiva (65) and P. Nirbhai Sai Reddy (59) were top batters for Raju.
In the second half, Shiva lead the bowling from front and dismissed five willowmen while giving away 49 runs. T. Abhinay Reddy picked three wickets to bowl out Osmania for 176.
