Kolkata: Two-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winners, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) kept alive their hopes of winning the title for the third time after Dinesh Karthik-led unit defeated Ajinkya Rahane’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Eliminator of IPL 2018 at the Eden Gardens here on Wednesday.
Needing 170 runs to win, RR suffered a 25-run loss and crashed out of the tournament while KKR, following the win, will now take on Kane Williamson-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 2 on Friday.
