Harsh Goenka, whose brother Sanjeev Goenka owns the IPL team Rising Pune Supergiants, was under a lot of criticism earlier this month for his tweet against M.S. Dhoni. He had written, “Smith proved who’s the king of the jungle. Overshadows Dhoni totally. Captains innings. Great move to appoint him as captain (sic).
Dhoni’s friends and colleagues, who did not take the tweet too well, reacted soon enough. But looks like the tables have turned after Dhoni’s match-winning knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad, defeating the latter. Harsh Goenka took to Twitter to praise Dhoni’s performance. He wrote, “Masterful innings by Dhoni. Great to see him back in form. Nobody can be a greater finisher. Takes @RPSupergiants to a nail-biting win (sic).” But twitteratis, who did not forget Harsh’s earlier tweet, wasted no time to give it back to him.
