Ambati Rayudu trolls Harsh Goenka, praises MS Dhoni as RPS beat Sunrisers Hyderabad
Mumbai: Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu hailed Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his match-winning knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune, on Saturday.
Dhoni smashed 61 from 34 balls, to guide Pune to a 6-wicket win against the defending champions.
However, the former India captain has come under some criticism recently, for failing to conjure-up the form that he had shown at previous franchise Chennai Super Kings.
One of the main critics of Dhoni was Harsh Goenka, who is the brother of Rising Pune Supergiant owner Sanjeev Goenka.
While Goenka deleted the 'Smith overshadows Dhoni' tweet, Dhoni fans slammed him.
Dhoni's wife Sakshi also took to the social media to post these cryptic messages.
However, Rayudu, who plays for Mumbai Indians, has came out in support of MS Dhoni after the match, but also went on to take a little dig at Harsh Goenka.
In a momentous u-turn however, Goenka had himself praised Dhoni after the match, calling him a “great finisher”.
