Mumbai: India skipper MS Dhoni verified that he still remains the go-to man for his team under pressure. The manner in which he set his field, kept his cool, broke the stumps when needed shows his tough character.

Here are tfour instances that turned the match for India.

Dhoni’s stumpings: Captain Cool stumped the in-form Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman off his spinners – Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina when India desperately needed a wicket.

Bumrah’s death over: The youngster did not have a good start to his spell but he bowled a tight 19th over to take the match to the last over. He conceded only six runs when Bangladesh needed 17 off 12 balls.

Nehra’s advice: When Dhoni threw the ball to Pandya, it was Nehra who came and advised the youngster. He probably taught him the trick to handle such pressure situations. The veteran’s experience came handy.

Maverick sprint: Had Dhoni not taken off like a jet plane, it would have been impossible to stop the last run. He ran in confidently taking off his glove and dislodged the stumps. Even before it went upstairs, Dhoni told Nehra that he got the man.
