Under 23 cricket: Hyderabad eves lose opening tie
Hyderabad: Hyderabad got off to a losing start in the Women’s Under 23 one-day cricket league, going down to Kerala by three wickets at the AOC ground here on Friday.
Batting first, the hosts were under pressure from Kerala bowler P. Sourabhya who took 4/23 and folded for 137 in 48.1 overs. G. Trisha (39) and D. Ramya (32) made decent contributions to the Hyderabad total.
In reply, Kerala rode on a half-century from I. V. Drishya (76) to overhaul the target in exactly the same number of overs.
