Ganesh of Mahbubnagar District sent the PKMCC bowlers on a leather hunt when he scored 132.

Hyderabad: Taranjeet Singh of Raju CC hogged the limelight taking WMCC bowlers to the cleaners as he belted 172 off just 51 balls, with 10 fours and 21 sixes, to help his team post a mammoth 554 in 88.3 overs in a Hyderabad Cricket Association two-day league match on Monday. Giving Taranjeet company was Arnav Reddy who stroked an unbeaten 171, off 265 balls with 22 boundaries.

Apart from the duo, Rishiket Sisodia (178 for Budding Star), Ganesh (132 for Mahbubnagar District), Nithin Sai Yadav (8/60 for Hyderabad Titans, T. Raghava (8/17 for Elegant), Md. Taukeer (5/104) for Pasha Beedi, M. Ritvik (5/21 for Venus Cybertech), Harish (5/60 for Secunderabad Nawabs), C.P. Venkatesh (5/37) for Telangana also took centrestage on an action packed day.

Vinay Yadav of Khalsa missed the three-figure landmark by just one run when he caught by T. Bharath off Syed Ismail. His effort, however, was enough to help his team emerge victorious by 40 runs over Balaji Colts.

For Budding Star, it was all about Sisodia. His 178 off just 157 balls, was studded with 19 fours and six towering sixes as his team managed 383 in their innings. In reply, Apex were tottering at 6/3 in 8 overs at stumps.

Hyderabad Titans’ left-arm spinner Nithin Sai Yadav ran through Khammam District’s line-up returning with figures of 16.5-2-60-8 as Titans beat Khammam by five wickets.

Elegant’s T. Raghava was another bowler who ran through the opponent when he accounted for eight Green Turf batsmen returning with figures of 10.5-4-17-8. Batting first, Green Turf could only muster 111 in 35.5 overs which Elegant overhauled in just 17.2 overs.

Telangana’s CP Venkatesh was the other bowler to take centrestage. His haul of 9.1-0-37-5 helped his team bowl MCC out for 169 in 50.1 overs. In reply, Telangana triumphed with four wickets, scoring 171/6 in 28.3 overs.

Venus Cybertech beat Deccan Wanderers by six wickets with M. Ritvik being their star performer. The bowler scalped five wickets (10-2.21-5) as Deccan was shot out for 62. Venus Cybertech managed to win in 19 overs.
