KSCA league: Pawar, Kulkarni shine in Cavaliers win
Bengaluru: Powered by Vrushabh Pawar (78) and Anirudh Kulkarni (3/36), Cavaliers Cricket Club registered a thrilling one-wicket win against Wilson Garden Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I – III Division cricket league for the Nassur Memorial Shield.
Batting first, Wilson Garden managed to pile up 223 for 8. Sharana Basava (40), Vishal Dalodiya (30) and Samarth Hegde (39 n.o) were the chief contributors while off-spinner Darshan MR grabbed twp wickets.
In reply, Suraj Reddy’s five-wicket went in vain as Cavaliers lost nine wickets in the race to achieve the target. Apart from Pawar, Shiv Nayaka made 44. Hegde and Satish J shared two wickets each.
