Mumbai: A couple of days before he was arrested in Harare for alleged rape, Krishna Satyanarayana Gandlur, was present at the post-match presentation ceremony after the third ODI between India and Zimbabwe.
He handed the ‘Player of the Match’ cheque to India speedster Jasprit Bumrah.
Satyanarayana is a consultant for iTeamWorks and had been working as part of the sponsorship in the ongoing bilateral series.
According to reports, he is also the co-founder of ITW Sports.
He, along with Ravi Krishnan – another accused – was referred to the High Court for bail which has been delayed by a day.
The duo were arrested on Friday from Meikles Hotel in Harare on charges of rape.
