New Delhi: Kohli and Sharma households are gearing up for the newly-married Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding reception in New Delhi on Thursday, an event which is to be attended by the bigwigs in the national capital and family members.

Following the never-ending series of rumours of their marriage earlier this month, Virat and Anushka put a fullstop to all the speculation as they took to social media channels to announce the news of their marriage.

The marriage in Tuscany, Italy on December, which was attended only by the families and a select few, was a grand affair and as the photos trickled in, it seemed like a fairytale wedding.

The couple then reportedly headed to Finland and came back to India earlier this week and now set to host two receptions – one in Delhi today and another on December 26, Tuesday, in Mumbai, which is expected to be attended by Bollywood stars and cricketers.

And while the Mumbai reception is going to be lavish, here are all the details about Delhi reception which is going to take place today.
Venue:
The New Delhi wedding reception of Virat and Anushka will be held at the Durbar Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave, SP Marg entrance.
Timing:
The reception, which will be attended family and some of the Delhi bigwigs, is scheduled to start at 8.30 P.M.

The guest-list:
While Virat and Anushka’s Mumbai reception is set to be attended by Indian cricket team members and bigwigs from Bollywood, the Delhi reception is set to be attended by many cricketers who had played cricket alongside Virat since his Under-17 days.
It is also reported that the likes of Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, some members of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), BCCI’s acting president CK Khanna and IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla will attend the Delhi reception.
Arun Jaitley, former DDCA president and now the Finance Minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, may also attend the reception.
Menu for the reception:
While the hotel is known for its Indian, European and Chinese delicacies, it is reported that North Indian delicacies, in addition to Punjabi food, will also be served to the guests that will attend the reception.
Performance:
It is learnt that Gurdas Mann, famous singer, songwriter, choreographer and actor, will perform live during the reception.
