Rohit Sharma slams critics on Twitter after clearing Yo-Yo test; here's the tweet
Bengaluru: Team India opener Rohit Sharma will be heading to Ireland and England after clearing the much debated Yo-Yo test on Wednesday. The stylish right handed batsman, who had previously failed the test twice during the Indian Premier League (IPL) comfortably cleared it this time around at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The Yo-Yo test is a mandatory fitness parameter for players set by the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) for a place in national team.
Ajinkya Rahane was asked to be a standby if his Mumbai counterpart failed to clear the test. The ‘Hitman’ also took to Twitter to share the news and also silence the crictics, who had doubts over his fitness issue. Here’s what he wrote
Dear... it’s no ones business how & where I spend my time.I’m entitled to have time off as long as I follow protocol.Let’s debate some real news shall we😊 & to a few channels,I had just 1 chance to clear my yo-yo that was today.Verification before reporting is always a good idea

Earlier, on Wednesday Rohit took to his Instagram handle to confirm the news of him clearing the test. He captioned the picture as “Yo-Yo See you shortly Ireland,”.
Earlier Mohammed Shami and Ambati Rayudu failed the Yo-Yo test and will not be the part of India side touring Ireland and England. Last week team India skipper Virat Kohli and former skipper MS Dhoni along with other players, cleared the Yo-Yo Test to confirm their ticket for the England tour.
India will tour Ireland for T20 Internationals scheduled for June 27 and 29.
