Watch: Dhawan, Jadeja, Hardik, Krunal, Williamson take #BreakTheBeard challenge

Mumbai: The Indian Premier League 2018 season has kicked off too smashing start with some edge of the seat close matches, record breaking scores, milestones, lots of sxes and boundaries.

The cash rich league have entertained the crowd with some big hitting and record breaking numbers from big itters like Andre Russel, Chris Gayle and Shane Watson. Gayle and Watson have already registered centuries in the league this season.

While star players are smashing records on the field, some of the players are making news off the field as well.

#BreakTheBeard challenge is back and some of the cricketers dared to take the challenge during the onging IPL. Players such as Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Kane Williamson are some of the players to have accepted the challenge

Last year Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Hardik Pandya had taken up the challenge and changed their looks.

“Here is something new for my fans, from my fans! Time to take it to the #NewLevel. Gabru ni bolda ohda swag bolda. Buraaahhhh #newlook #breakthebeard”, Dhawan posted on Instagram.

Following Dhawan, other cricketers also took up the challenge. Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson, and Mumbai Indians Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal also followed the suit.

While fans are already loving the new look of the these cricketers it would be interesting to see if the Indian skipper Virat Kohli takes up the challenge.
