Cooch Behar Trophy Day: Mickil and Junaid hit fifties for Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Hyderabad colts are in a descent position after half-centuries hit by Mickil Jaiswal and Md Junaid on Day One of their Cooch Behar Trophy match being played against Karnataka at Mysore on Monday.
Electing to bat first Hyderabad were 236 for 7 at stumps with Micky Jaiswal being the highest run scorer with 54 while Md Junaid was still batting at 52. K. Nithesh Reddy and Chandan Sahani played a supporting role by adding 40 runs each.
Meanwhile in the Vijay Merchant Trophy league match at Shimoga, Andhra have made a solid start against Hyderabad on Day 1.
Subramanyam’s brilliant 105 unbeaten knock helped Andhra to finish their day at a descent 265 for 5. Trishank Gupta scalped two wickets for Hyderabad.
