Rashid Khan, Krunal Pandya have a challenge accepted by Hardik Pandya

Mumbai: Krunal Pandya may not be a part of the Team India squad, but the all-rounder is already turning heads on Twitter. During one of the List A matches against England, the Baroda cricketer bowled a surprise delivery which took the batsman by surprise.

He tricked the opposition batsman by placing a slip fielder, suggesting he would try to spin the ball and extract a leading edge. But with a short run-up, Krunal bowled a short bouncer which hit the deck and caught the batsman off guard. The man at the other end failed to react in time as the delivery struck him on the gloves.

Soon after, the 27-year-old took to social media and posted a clip of the delivery with the caption, “Why should fast bowlers have all the fun?”

Not only Krunal’s followers but also Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan was left quite impressed. The youngster replied to him saying, “Exactly we should work on it.”

Krunal responded by striking a deal with Rashid, saying they would not bowl the bouncer while facing each other.

Rashid, in turn, suggested Krunal bowl it to his younger brother Hardik who soon accepted the challenge.
