Mumbai: Team India pacer Ishant Sharma is the latest to join the list of cricketers who have left singleton in the past. On Sunday, the Delhi lad got engaged to Indian basketball star Pratima Singh.
The lanky pacer shared pictures of the event on his social media accounts. Pratima’s sisters have also represented India at the highest level in basketball. One of her four sisters, Prashanti had captained the Indian national women’s basketball team and another sister Akansha is a member of the team. The eldest sibling, Priyanka is now a basketball coach in Patiala.

Many Indian cricketers congratulated Ishant but Rohit Sharma decided to poke fun at him. Ishant, who sports long hair and has often drawn flak from fans, was trolled by him India teammate.

Rohit said that at least on this occasion he could have cut his hair. Ishant is not part of the Indian squad to Zimbabwe but is currently gearing up for the tour of West Indies where he will have to shoulder the responsibility of leading the pacer attack in the Caribbean during the four-match Test series.
