2017 ICC Champions Trophy: Virat Kohli and co to play NZ, Bangladesh in warm-up games
London: The top cricketing sides from around the world are set to play a few warm-up games in the United Kingdom, before the 2017 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy gets underway in June.
The tournament, which will be hosted by England and Wales, is set to start on June 1, with the final being scheduled for June 18.
The warm-up games are set to begin on Friday, May 26, with Australia squaring off against Sri Lanka.
India are set to play two warm-up games against New Zealand, on Sunday, May 28, and against Bangladesh, on Tuesday, May 30; both of India’s matches are set to be played at The Oval. Both of India’s games are set to start at 3pm IST.
Bangladesh will be playing in the Champions Trophy for the first time since 2006, as they have replaced the West Indies in the top-eight positions on the ICC ODI rankings.
