Mumbai: Rohit Sharma is once again proving everyone why choosing him to open in Tests has been one of the best decisions. Slamming his third century in just four innings as an opener has put Sharma to the limelight.
Sharma's quickfire hundred has been a beautifully constructed innings which he will be proud of. He reached the three-figure mark in just 130 deliveries. Flashes of Virender Sehwag could be seen as he achieved this century by hitting a massive six.
This innings would without a doubt make the Sehwag, the 'Nawab of Nafajgarh' proud of Sharma. Happiness could also be seen in Ajinkya Rahane's demeanour as he looked very happy for the man of the moment.
Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane have managed to strike a wonderful partnership between themselves after bailing the hosts out of trouble when the Indian top-order crumbled.
