\'Sarfaraz, you\'re fat\': Pakistan skipper faces verbal abuse; watch video

Mumbai: After Pakistan’s loss to India on Sunday, the team left the pitch feeling bitter. What made matters worse was that supporters of Pakistan, who should have supported the team following their loss by 89 runs, instead chose to turn on the players themselves.

Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, was perhaps the biggest victim. The Pakistan skipper was targeted by audience for the team’s poor performance at the tournament. Ahmed was also criticised on the internet later for yawning on the pitch during the match.

Now however, a new video has surfaced and is rapidly going viral. The new clip depicts a fan yelling insults directly at Ahmed, who was standing in close proximity, from the stands. The fan yells at Sarfaraz and calls the skipper fat.

Pakistan players have been under the crosshairs for loads of verbal insults and memes since their loss. Earlier another Pakistan fan went viral ranting about the team indulging in eating junk food prior to the match, and some of the players were also accused of loitering around till late, the night before the match against India.
