ICC CWC\'19: KP announces England as World Cup winners, gets bashed by trollers; watch
Mumbai: Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen is in the headlines for no reasons. After England thumped Afghanistan by 150 runs, Pietersen on air jokingly said ‘give em the cup’.
However, the Indian fans got offended by his joke and gave be-fitting reply to him. KP in a tweet stated if Roy gets out there is Bairstow if they both get out, there is Root. If the trio misses out, there’s Buttler and if all gets out there’s Jofra Archer who will get the opposition out. Finally, he stated ‘give them the cup’. On air, KP carried a model of World Cup trophy and conferred it to the England team.
Nevertheless, his tweet read as – “If Roy misses out, Bairstow will get you! If they both miss out, Root will get you. If they all miss out then Buttler will get you. And, Jofra will always get you! Give em the cup.”

However, the Indian fans begged to differ with him as they believed that the Virat Kohli-led team are strong contenders as well and they gave a strong reply to the outspoken cricketer. Check their reply.
