Virat Kohli adopts 15 dogs
Of the fifteen dogs adopted, some of them were blind, chronically ill and paraplegic.
Bengaluru: Virat Kohli, skipper of the Indian cricket team and Royal Challengers Bangalore, recently paid a visit to Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARE), in Jakkur and passively adopted fifteen dogs.
This would imply that he will take sole charge for the financial sustenance of these dogs as well as be updated on their health and well-being from time to time. Of the fifteen dogs adopted, some of them were blind, chronically ill and paraplegic.
“People usually go for the cuter puppies but Virat went for the weak ones”, reflected Aishwarya Sridhar, one of the volunteers at CARE. Two of their youngest volunteers, Simone Vaidya and Anmol facilitated this meeting.
