Tendulkar-Warne's Cricket All Stars series confirmed

Warne made the announcement on his official Facebook page that the series will be held in September or October in 2017.

Mumbai: The Cricket All-Stars, the exhibition Twenty20 cricket series played by the retired stalwarts of the game is set to return in 2017.

The inaugural All-Stars tournament was held in United States of America between Sachin Tendulkar’s Sachin Blasters and Shane Warne’s Warne Warriors in 2015. The series have been started with a motive to make cricket popular in America.

Warne made the announcement on his official Facebook page that the series will be held in September or October in 2017.

“Great news for cricket lovers around the world who have never seen their heroes play live or only saw them for the first time play last year in the USA. The Cricket Superstars is excited to announce that it's back again in 2017 & it's a huge pleasure to announce these players who have signed up to play with more legends to announce soon,” wrote Warne.

Several veterans from the last year will be back in action, including the likes of Matthew Hayden, Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena, Brian Lara etc.

It gets better! Few more greats will be joining the league in 2017, namely Brendon McCullum, Kevin Pietersen, Mitchell Johnson and Shahid Afridi.
