Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bangalore pulled off a sensational victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs to keep their play-off chances alive. The match witnessed some brilliant batting and fielding from both the teams.

In the batting department it was AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali who scored maximum runs for RCB , while skipper Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey carried the bat for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The match also saw some brilliant fielding effort from both the sides.. During the RCB innings, Shikhar Dhawan had taken a one-legged catch to dismiss de Villiers. Rashid Khan take a one handed stunner. However, it was AB de Villiers who took the best catch of the match,when he leapt high in the air, like Superman to pluck one which dismissed Alex Hales.

If there were some brilliant catches, there were also bad decisions which could have brought twist in the match, The big decision came in the during the third over of the innings of the Sunrisers, Tim Southee ran forward to take superb low catch. While everyone was convinced that it was a clear catch, the umpires decided to go upstairs to check If the ball had carried without a bump. However, to everyone’s surprise the third umpire overruled the decision as gave not out.

Virat Kohli also looked surprised with the decision and was seen discussing the same with the on-field umpires.

The decision eventually did not prove costly as Hales was dismissed shortly after that.
