Delhi Daredevils innings
Cameo innings from Vijay Shankar (36 runs) and Harshal Patel (36 runs) helped Delhi Daredevils reach 162-5 in 20 overs against Chennai Super Kings at Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday.
After being put into bat DD got of to worst start as Prithvi Shaw departed early . Shreyas Iyer (19 runs)and Rishabh Pant (38 runs) then put on 54 run stand before both the batsman departed quickly to the pavillion. Lungi Ngidi removing both the set batsman to bring CSK back in the match.
Maxwell too couldn't make big impression as he was clean bowled by Jadeja.
All-rounder Vijay Shankar and Harshal Patel then used long handle in the end as both the batsmen went after CSK bowlers. The last over by Dwayne Bravo saw DD score 26 runs as both of them put on an unbeaten 65 run partnership to take their team to fighting total.

WICKET! Another batsman bites the dust and this time it is Glenn Maxwell who is clean bowled by Jadeja for just 5 runs. Maxwell goes for reverse sweep but gets his leg stump uprooted.
WICKET! Ngidi double strike has put DD in deep trouble. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant both sent back to the dugout.

Not the best of the start for DD as opener Prithvi Shaw departs early. With in form batsman Rishabh Pant and Skipper Shreyas Iyer at crease DD will be looking for a big score.

Preview: The Indian Premier League is heading towards the final segment of the league stage and with Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad already qualifying for play-offs, the competition is for third and fourth place.
Delhi Daredevils have yet another campaign to forget as they are the first team to be eliminated from this years tournament. The change in captaincy after string of losses also did not help the DD to get their campaign on track.
The Shreyas Iyer-led side will looked to salvage some pride in the final two game, the first of being them against Chennai Super Kings. The host will look to test their bench strength with an eye on next season, while CSK will look to iron out their flaws before the 1st qualifier in Mumbai.
With some big hitters on both the side the game is expected to be a cracker of a contest.
