Bengaluru: Royal Bangalore Challengers held their nerve last night at M Chinnaswamy Stadium to beat table toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs in a nail biting encounter to keep their Play-off chances alive.
After posting 218-6 thanks to AB de Villiers (69 runs) and Moeen Ali (62 runs) RCB bowlers held onto to their nerve to register victory.
The match witnessed many outstanding moment,that kept the fans right on the edge of the seat. From Shikhar Dhawan’s outstanding catch on the boundary line to Rashid Khan’s one handed stunner, the fans were treated to some mind blowing cricket.
Out of many outstanding moments, the catch by South Africa super star AB de Villiers took away the honors. While the social media and the commentators were left awestruck, Virat Kohli, amongst the other RCB members, could not believe their eyes at ABD’s effort.

ABD, meanwhile, was rather candid, discussing his catch.
“I made it look better than actually it was. Got into a bad position, the ball had a bit of a curve on it. The minute I took the jump, I realised a little bit of my body was outside. I just had to put that right and luckily it stuck,” said ABD.
