Pragyan Ojha reacts to \'curious case\' of Rayudu\'s omission from India\'s WC squad

Rayudu was omitted from India’s 15-man squad for the showpiece tournament, with all-rounder Vijay Shankar taking his place.

Mumbai: Indian middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu took to Twitter to share that he would buy 3D glasses to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup in England later in the summer.

The Hyderabadi cricketer was omitted from India’s 15-man squad for the showpiece tournament, with all-rounder Vijay Shankar taking his place.

The ‘3D’ reference came after chief selector MSK Prasad praised Vijay Shankar’s ‘three-dimensional’ abilities ahead of the 10-team tournament.

Former cricketer Pragyan Ojha reacted to this, terming it as a ‘Curious case of some Hyderabadi cricketers’.

“Curious case of some Hyderabadi cricketers... been in a similar situation... understand the wink,” he posted on Twitter.

However, Ojha got furious after a Twitter user criticised Ojha for his bowling action.

“Ojhas action was the reason for his fall.Never the same bowler since his action was remodeled! Not sure what curious are we talking about !,” he tweeted.

To this, the 32-year-old replied, “Do you really follow domestic cricket? Check my records after the incident. Pity on you for living in fools garden.
