2 losses don't make India bad: Gambhir backs Virat Kohli's men post series defeat
Mumbai: Virat Kohli-led Team India on Wednesday suffered a forgettable series defeat after their 135-run loss to Faf du Plessis' South Africa in the second Test in Centurion, despite showing fighting efforts in both the Test matches.
The loss not only meant the continuation of their winless jinx in the rainbow country, but also was their first Test series loss, after clinching nine consecutive series.
Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir, however, came in the defence of Virat Kohli’s team, giving a strong message to the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI).
Gambhir shared this message in Twitter. He tweeted “Its time to show support for Indian team and not being over-the-top critical. This was the team that had such a fabulous run, two games don’t make them bad. Rather than being severe on our boys, let’s just give credit to d opposition @BCCI. Simple: Well played @OfficialCSA."

Virat Kohli was the lone fighter in India’s first innings, playing a knock of 153 runs.
However, in the second innings, most of the batsmen failed to score runs, with Rohit Sharma being an exception, playing a knock of 47. Lungi Ngidi had a debut to remember, finishing with seven wickets in the match.
The two teams will now head to Johannesburg, where they will play the final Test, starting from January 24.
