Hyderabad: Hyderabad openers made a steady start in response to a mammoth 402-run target set by Jharkhand on the third day of their Group ‘D’ match of the Cooch Behar Under 19 trophy being played at Ranchi.

Resuming at their overnight total of 87/2, Jharkhand went on to post 350/6 declared in 102 overs with the help of the centuries from Amit Pal (126) and Atul Singh (103) respectively. Bhagath Varma was the most succesful bowler for the visitors as he picked four wickets.
