Team India skipper Virat Kohli has a fanboy moment with Bollywood singer Arijit Singh
Mumbai: It’s no surprise that cricketers spend a lot of time listening to their favourite songs as they undergo a lot of travelling during various tours. Along with a training kit, a perfect set of headphones is one mandatory accessory every athlete carries along.
On Tuesday, Virat Kohli witnessed a fanboy moment when he caught up with his favourite singer Arijit Singh. The India skipper also heaped praise on the Bollywood singer on Twitter, stating no one else’s voice has enthralled him in the same way.
Pure fanboy moment for me. What an amazing person he is. No one has captivated me with their voice like this man. God bless you Arijit. ðŸ™ðŸ˜Š pic.twitter.com/aQMeGjQP8y

This is not the first time that Kohli revealed his admiration for Arijit.
I am probably one of the biggest fans of Arijit Singh. Mesmerised by his talent and soulful voice. I am short of words actually.

The 28-year-old may possess exceptional batting skills, but has proven that he can even give professional singers a run for their money with his soothing voice.
Virat Kohli previously revealed that he listens to a lot of Punjabi and Sufi music since he hails from the north. The dashing right-hander recently featured in a chat show with Bollywood star Aamir Khan, where he spoke about his various interests and danced on a few Bollywood tunes.
Kohli and co will now shift their focus back to cricket when they take on New Zealand in the ODI series on Sunday.
