Hyderabad: Md Asadduddin, Mohit Kumar, Akhil Srinivas and Aswad Rajiv came up with splendid performances to grab the spotlight in the Hyderabad Cricket Associations’s second division two-day league matches played here at various grounds.
Zinda Tilismath rode on Md Asadduddin’s 132 to drub Crown CC by 295 runs.
The left-handed batsman’s heroic knock came in 106 balls and comprised 11 boundaries and five sixes. Also, Azhar Ali and Moiz Iqbal contributed 90 and 88 not out as the Tilismath unit declared their innings 452/9.
In reply, Crown CC collapsed to 158 all out in 41.3 overs as Vishnu Chaitanya scalped three wickets while conceding 40 runs.
In another match, Hyderabad Titans’ Akhil Srinivas was the principal wrecker for Raju CC as he took a five-wicket haul. Titans won by 168 runs after setting a target of 226. Akhil’s brilliant 12 overs spell contained five maidens, 25 runs and five wickets. Also Shubham Rajkumar J. snapped three wickets for six runs.
In another match, Mohit Kumar’s five-wicket haul dismantled Oxford Blues for a paltry 58 and guided Manchester to a thumping 205-run victory.
Aswad Rajiv of Oxford Blues picked six wickets while conceding 112 runs but his efforts went in vain. However, Manchester rode on Mohit’s fine figures of 11-3-15-5. Vijender also took four wickets for Manchester.
