Mumbai: A numerologist from Kerala has stated that India would win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. MK Damodaran, who predicted India’s 2011 World Cup win, on Saturday had expressed that India would win the coveted trophy again in 2019.

Damodaran, a Kannur-based retired government staff, has accurately predicted numerous events in the sports and political field using numerology.

Damodaran in an interview with the IANS in 2011 had said, numbers 2, 6, and 7 played a major role in the plan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, whose "fate number is 33".

Damodaran stated, "Indian captain Virat Kohli's birth number is 5 and occult number’s also 5. Interestingly, Dhoni and Kohli are numerological birds of the same feather. The fate number of Kohli also is 33. Dhoni and Kohli have an amazing chemistry."

Damodaran said since Kohli’s date of birth is 5/11/1988 and his Sun sign is Scorpio, which is linked to number 9. Therefore, the numbers 3, 6, and 9 will prove to be lucky for him. Kohli’s fate number is 33 and his age 30 is the luckiest since 3+0=3.

"These factors indicate Kohli and Dhoni will lift the 3rd World Cup for India," Damodaran added.

Drawing similarities to Kapil Dev, he stated, numbers 3, 6 and 9 proved to be lucky for him as his birth number is 6 and occult number is 30 (3+0=3). As an Indian captain, Kapil Dev had won the World Cup in 1983 (1+9+8+3=21).

"It was the third Cricket World Cup and Kapil was just 24 years then (2+4=6). And, now, it's the 12th World Cup (1+2=3) by numerology, 3 and 12 belong to the same family," added Damodaran.
