Rishi Kapoor takes a dig at Pakistan ahead of ICC Champions Trophy final vs India
Mumbai: While Virat Kohli-led Team India are gearing up to take on Sarfraz Ahmed’s Pakistani side in the ICC Champions Trophy final at The Oval on Sunday, Rishi Kapoor has taken a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board ahead of one of the most anticipated clash between the arch-rivals.
The Bollywood star, in a tweet, told PCB to send their cricket team and not “Hockey or Kho Kho team”.
Rishi Kapoor tweeted saying:
PCB. Cricket team bhejna please.Earlier Hockey ya Kho Kho team bhejin thin. Kyon ki 18th June(Fathers Day) Baap khel raha tumhare saath lol!

Earlier, after Pakistan had beaten England to make it to the finals, Rishi Kapoor had congratulated the Pakistani team but he could not resist taking a "Blue" dig at them. He tweeted:
Congratulations Pakistan! You enter finals? Wow! Good to see you wearing our colour BLUE! Get ready to be BLUED now! We will BLUE you away!

However, following India completed their semifinal win over Bangladesh, while replying to a tweet from Pakistani cricket team supporter, Rishi Kapoor tweeted this.

Rishi Kapoor though is not the first Indian celebrity to have poked Pakistan side with "Father-Son" jibe. Earlier, star Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag had taken a dig at Pakistan after India had defeated them by 124 runs in their Champions Trophy opening encounter.
