Mumbai: While Virat Kohli-led Team India are gearing up to take on Sarfraz Ahmed’s Pakistani side in the ICC Champions Trophy final at The Oval on Sunday, Rishi Kapoor has taken a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board ahead of one of the most anticipated clash between the arch-rivals.
The Bollywood star, in a tweet, told PCB to send their cricket team and not “Hockey or Kho Kho team”.
Rishi Kapoor tweeted saying:
PCB. Cricket team bhejna please.Earlier Hockey ya Kho Kho team bhejin thin. Kyon ki 18th June(Fathers Day) Baap khel raha tumhare saath lol!— Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) June 15, 2017
Earlier, after Pakistan had beaten England to make it to the finals, Rishi Kapoor had congratulated the Pakistani team but he could not resist taking a "Blue" dig at them. He tweeted:
Congratulations Pakistan! You enter finals? Wow! Good to see you wearing our colour BLUE! Get ready to be BLUED now! We will BLUE you away!— Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) June 14, 2017
However, following India completed their semifinal win over Bangladesh, while replying to a tweet from Pakistani cricket team supporter, Rishi Kapoor tweeted this.

Rishi Kapoor though is not the first Indian celebrity to have poked Pakistan side with "Father-Son" jibe. Earlier, star Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag had taken a dig at Pakistan after India had defeated them by 124 runs in their Champions Trophy opening encounter.
