The Mayor sought to distance himself from the row though. “Sunrisers Hyderabad are officially giving the passes to GHMC. We have nothing to do with comments coming out of infighting in the HCA,” he told this newspaper on Wednesday.
“The team owners give away complimentaries to the Police too. There’s nothing wrong in them extending the benefit to GHMC, which looks after roads, sanitation and other civic issues around the Stadium area,” he added....
