With her 17th T20I fifty on Thursday, she also joined New Zealand’s Suze Bates, Australia’s Alyssa Healy and Pakistan’s Babar Azam in terms of the most 50-plus scores in a calendar year.

Before Harmanpreet Kaur’s India women play their semifinal, they have a huge task in hand as they face Australia in their final group game here on Saturday.
