Watch: Ajinkya Rahane's warm gesture after India-Afghanistan Test wins hearts
Bengaluru: A dominant India on Friday spoilt Test debutants Afghanistan’s party as they beat them by an innings and 262 runs.
Ajinkya Rahane’s men, meanwhile, became the first Asian team to win a Test inside just two days.
The post-match presentation, was one to remember for Afghanistan for a long time.
In a kind gesture, India’s stand-in skipper Rahane invited his rival captain Asghar Stanikzai and co to pose with the trophy despite losing the Test match.
What a brilliant gesture from #TeamIndia to ask @ACBofficials players to pose with them with the Trophy. This has been more than just another Test match #SpiritofCricket #TheHistoricFirst #INDvAFG @Paytm pic.twitter.com/TxyEGVBOU8
