Harbhajan Singh to have sleepless night as Lionel Messi's Argentina face Iceland
New Delhi: The biggest football carnival is finally underway as 32 teams battle it out to be crowned as the champions of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The month long tournament, which kicked off at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Thursday will see some of the best players take the field and memerise the audience.
Fans around the world will be cheering for their favourite and Indian cricketers too are not far behind from showing their support as well. Team India spinner Harbhajan Singh also did not stay behind as he took to social media Twitter to show his support for his best team.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, Bhajji admitted that he would be having sleepless nights for next one month, rooting for Argentina star Lionel Messi.
“Over the next one month I am gonna sleepless night for this man.. GO MESSI GO @TeamMessi @FIFAWorldCup #Argentina ?? #Russia2018”, Harbhajan wrote in his tweet.

The 30-year-old came close to winning the World Cup with Argentina in 2014, but were left in tears as Mario Gotze’s goal in extra time helped Germany lift the title. His team also lost the 2015 and 2016 Copa America final to Chile. After losing the 2016 final the worlds best player briefly retired from international football.
Messi who is a five-time winner of Ballon d’Or award, has had stellar success at club level with Barcelona, while failing to replicate the success at international level.
Argentina are clubbed with Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria in Group D. They will play their first match against Iceland at Spartak Stadium, Moscow on Saturday.
