Bengaluru: Kashish (86) and Tarun KC (4/44) starred in Jawahar Sports Club’s 95-run victory over Bangalore Cricketers in the KSCA U-16 inter-club cricket tournament for Group I – I, II, III Divisions teams.
Batting first, Jawahar SC mustered a handsome 272 for 9 in the allotted 50 overs. Supporting Kashish, Akshan Rao made 53 while Xenith B. chipped in with 32. Amogha R grabbed three wickets.
In reply, Bangalore Cricketers were bowled out for 177. Aditya TD (24), Taarun Sridhar (25), Hritesh (33) and Amith MS (24 n.o) came up with small contributions which wasn't enough to take their side across the finish line.
Sanketh SB took three wickets while Sayan Arun bagged two for the winners.
