New Delhi: With the IPL-9 matches being moved out of Maharashtra in the wake of the Bombay High Court’s order, the Rising Pune Supergiants have on Friday asked for Visakhapatnam as their alternative home venue.
“We have offered four options: Raipur, Jaipur, Visakhapatnam and Raipur. Mumbai Indians have asked for time till the day after tomorrow. Pune has given Visakhapatnam as its preference. We will put their proposal before the Governing Council,” IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said after a meeting with the two franchises. Bengaluru was nominated as the fallback venue for the IPL-9 final.
