Cooch Behar Trophy: Bhagath Varma and Sai shine but Hyderabad on tricky road
Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s Bhagath Varma snared six wickets conceding 43 runs against Madhya Pradesh on the third day of the Cooch Behar Under-19 trophy match being played at Rewa in Madhya Pradesh.
Resuming at their overnight score of 159 for 7, Madhya Pradesh were bowled out in the early hour of third day for 186 as Hyderabad bowlers hit back hard on their opponents. Yash Dubey contributed 72 runs to the team score. Bhagath Varma picked two wickets on third day.
Hyderabad got onto the pitch for their second innings and scored 192 for the loss of six wickets in 78 overs. P. Sai Vikas Reddy contributed spectacular 83 runs while Mickil Jaiswal was unbeaten on 22 by the end of the day’s play. Ritesh S. picked three wickets concedding 43 runs for Madhya Pradesh.
