Mumbai: There’s always a moment of magic whenever MS Dhoni takes the field, be it the cricket or football. Despite his growing age, Dhoni remains one of the fittest players in the Indian team and has proved his critics wrong with his exceptional batting and wicket-keeping skills.

On Sunday, Thala showed the world that he can do wonders even with a football at his feet. In the Celebrity Clasico match between All Hearts and All Stars, Dhoni struck two free-kicks to help Virat Kohli-led All Hearts clinch a 6-3 win over the opposition.

Dhoni opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a long-range free-kick, that had a slight deflection before landing into the back of the net.

The 36-year-old once again displayed his set-piece prowess in the 39th minute with another sublime free-kick to score his second of the night.

With a spot kick won just outside the penalty box, Dhoni calmly chipped the ball towards the bottom left-hand corner, presenting the keeper with no chance.

Goals from Kolhi, Kedar Jadhav and a brace from Aniruddha Srikant saw the All Hearts win by 6-3 in the end.
