There was no shortage of passion as Guwahati cricket fans filled the stadium to witness India-Australia T20.

Guwahati: While the three-match Twenty20 series between India and Australia ended in 1-1 draw after the third match at Hyderabad on Friday was abandoned due to wet outfield.

While India were favourites to clinch the T20 leg of the tour following their 4-1 win in the ODI series, Australia, after losing the Ranchi T20, outplayed Virat Kohli and co in the second game in Guwahati to level the series.

The local fans did not get the result they wanted as David Warner-led Australian side did not allow the top Indian stars – Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan – to fire.

However, there was no shortage of passion amongst those present at the ACA-Barsapara Cricket Stadium, which was hosting its first-ever international match.
