London: Different batsmen have different ways of celebrating century on ground. The Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq saluted on reaching hundred and he did not stop there but also did a set of push-ups.
"He was following his instructor's advice," Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam, said.
"While the team was being trained with the army men at the Abottabad, the army instructor there had said to the players to do push-ups after registering a hundred and Misbah did exactly what was said to the players."
"It was his 10th hundred and therefore he did it ten times," Alam further added.
"His salute was at the country flag (which was hosted at the Lord's)."
Interestingly, Misbah, at the age of 42, became the oldest captain to score a hundred and wrote his name on the Honous Board at the Lord's.
"His 10th Test century was witnessed by his wife and two children," concluded Alam.
