When Kohli agreed to end Rajkot Test in team's interest

Virat never plays for the individual records or milestones, says Vikas Kohli, his brother.

Mumbai: Alastair Cook's England side had a very remote chance of grabbing India's last four wickets in three balls in the final over of the Rajkot Test (few dismissals are valid on no balls and wides) but Team India skipper Virat Kohli had a fair chance of completing his 50. Even then he agreed to end the first Test as a draw three balls earlier than the scheduled close of play.

"Virat never plays for the individual records or milestones. He wants to play his natural game (for his team). The records come afterwards to him," Virat's brother, Vikas Kohli, said.

Kohli has 13 hundreds and 12 fifties in his 49 Tests.

"Had he lost his wicket, the team would have come under more pressure and he always sees the team interest," the brother said.

"He is a matured man and responsibly leading the side," the brother added.

Kohli will play his 50th Test which will be played at Visakhapatnam from November 17 to November 21, 2016.
