Bollywood star Aamir Khan follows Virat Kohli's style but forgets Mithali Raj's name
Hyderabad: While he is busy promoting his upcoming film 'The Secret Superstar' starring Zaira Wasim, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan had a moment to forget here on Friday.
Aamir, who recently appeared on a chat show alongside Kohli, was at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, a venue for the third and final Twenety20 between India and Australia, on Friday.
While the rain stayed away, wet outfield at the venue meant that the match was called off even before a ball was bowled.
However, Aamir appeared on a pre-match show alongside Zaira, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag and anchor Jatin Sapru.
Aamir, who was reportedly invited for the game by Kohli, and Zaira discussed their upcoming film, Indian cricketers and more. Aamir, when asked, which Indian cricketer’s style he follows, Aamir said, “It’s definitely Virat Kohli." Zaira too went gaga over Kohli as she said, “Be it his way of playing the game of cricket or his attitude, Virat is very good."
The two also got an opportunity to answer a few questions on cricket. While the two were spot on answering a question each correctly, when there was a tie-breaker question the scenario changed.
The tie-breaker question was to name the skipper of Indian women’s cricket team. Aamir then fumbled as he said, "I know but I’m not getting it now." Zaira too could not answer.
While Sapru gave a few hints, the two failed to name Mithali Raj, who had captained the Indian team to the 2017 ICC Women's World Cup final.
