India, Pakistan fans bash Australian journalist on Virat Kohli sweeper' Twitter post
Mumbai: Virat Kohli always seems to be in the news. While the Team India skipper gets a lot of praises for his performances with the bat, he was targetted on Twitter by an Australian journalist.
As the cricket fraternity geared up for Pakistan vs World XI Independence Cup match on Tuesday, Australian journalist Dennis stoked the flames on social media after he mocked Kohli.
Dennis took to Twitter and uploaded a picture of the India captain holding a broom and cleaning a cricket stadium (which Kohli had done in an attempt to promote the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan last year) with a caption “Sweepers clean the stadium in readiness for the World XI match”.

To reach first place in rankings one win is not enough. And these days upsets are common in cricket. Even B'desh won against Aus these days

The Australian media have always had a bone to pick with Kohli, even in the past. During Australia’s Test tour of India earlier this year, the 28-year-old was vilified on various occasions, even being termed as the ‘Donald Trump’ of cricket.
Not one to hold back, whether it comes to sledging or making bold statements, Kohli will aim to silence his critics with the willow when the Men in Blue resume their rivalry with Steve Smith's men on Sunday.
