Mumbai: The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to former BCCI boss N Srinivasan and Niranjan Shah, asking how the two could be representatives of state cricket bodies if they have been disqualified as the top cricketing body’s office-bearers.

The top court was hearing a complaint by the Committee of Administrators (CoA) that they "hijacked" the Special General Meeting on June 26.

The matter has been posted next for July 24.

N Srinivasan is nominated from the Tamil Nadu Cricket Associations. Niranjan Shah is honorary secretary of the Saurashtra Cricket Association.

Srinivasan's counsel Kapil Sibal had earlier stated the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association was right to nominate him for BCCI's Special General Meeting.
