Hyderabad: Himalay Agarwal scored a whopping 156 to take Sporting XI to a strong total of 476 against BDL on second day of the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s top division league. BDL in reply lost an early wicket with the score at 40 by close of play.
Meanwhile, in a Group ‘B’ match mediumpacer N. Anirudh scalped 5 for 58 to help Gemini Friends restrict Hyderabad Bottling to 28-run first inning lead after being bundled out for 207. In their second innings, Gemini Friends scored 87 for the loss of one wicket at the end of second day’s play.
Resuming at his overnight score of 125, Himalay continued his momentum and added another 31 runs. He hit 17 fours and two sixes off 398 balls during his knock. Mir Jaweed Ali, Yudhvir Singh and Sunny Patsa also lend valuable support as they scored 89, 92 and 58 respectively.
