IPL: Pune groundstaff's gesture for MS Dhoni is winning the internet; find out more
Pune: Mahendra Singh Dhoni has already become the grand icon of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The Jharkhand batsman’s show with the bat just keeps getting better with every innings, and he has aleady aggregated 413 runs from a dozen matches this season.
After CSK’s eight-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday, some of the groundstaff presented a gift to Dhoni for his contribution to the team. The present is a framed photo of Dhoni with his daughter Ziva.

With this win, CSK have booked their spot in the playoffs along with SRH. Interestingly, the Chennai franchise have never missed the playoff stage during their tenure in the IPL. The team, however, was banned from the IPL in 2016 and 2017 due to the spot-fixing controversy.
In their match against SRH, it was Ambati Rayudu’s heroics (100 not out) that helped CSK beat SRH. Dhoni and Rayudu put up an unbeaten 43-run stand for the third wicket to take the Men in Yellow home.
