Mumbai: Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina and his wife Priyanka have been blessed with a baby girl, according to reports on Saturday. The couple has named the new introduction in the family Shreyanshi.

The Indian southpaw flew to Amsterdam to be with his wife for the birth of their first child. Raina will miss his first game of the IPL. He is 15 runs shy of becoming the first batsman to score 4,000 runs in the cash-rich league.
Gujarat are almost sure for a place in the playoffs and according to sources close to the team camp, 29-year-old Raina will be available when Gujarat Lions take on Mumbai Indians next Saturday.

Raina has featured in his and every match he played in the IPL until now. He scored 3699 runs for Chennai and 286 runs for the Lions so far. While he was at the Chennai Super Kings camp, Raina scored one century while his best for GL so far has been an unbeaten 75.
