Pakistan's women players are Virat Kohli fans

Chennai: While Sana Mir picks M.S. Dhoni as her most favourite Indian cricketer for his leadership, the rest of the Pakistan women’s team are ardent fans of Virat Kohli.

“If I just talk about my players, I think Virat would be the most favourite. If I talk personally, it’s Dhoni. The way he leads India and the way he carries himself on and off the field. He is a wonderful leader,” said Sana.

But it was Waqar Younis who inspired Sana to take up cricket. “He was the reason why I started off as a fast bowler. I had a serious back injury in 2006 and based on doctor’s advice I turned to spin. The amount of street cricket I played helped evolve as a spinner,” she added.
