Hardik Pandya puts an end to relationship rumours on Valentine's Day
Mumbai: Indian bowler Hardik Pandya took to Twitter to clear the air on his relation ship status , on Valentine’s Day.
While Pandya has never spoken about his love-life, he has rumoured to be dating Kolkata model Lisha Sharma.
Pandya, who is set to lead the India A side in a three-day warm-up match against Australia on Friday, confirming that he is single, and is focusing on his cricketing career, instead of his love-life.
“Just wanted to clear Once for all, I have been single and focusing on my game since a long time! Again and again, this rumour or the picture comes out! It doesn’t justify the hard work we do! I would really appreciate ending this rumour! And let’s end it for all. Thank you, Love all, Hardik,” Pandya tweeted on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Pandya chose the Valentine’s Day as the occasion to make this announcement.
Rumours about Pandya and Sharma’s relationship had been doing the rounds for quite some time now, after the Kolkata model posted a picture of herself with Pandya on social media.
However, as the rumours started to do the rounds, Sharma deleted her tweet, and the duo have denied rumours of a hook-up ever since.
Pandya, who came under heavy criticism for his performances in the T20 World Cup last year, went on to make a comeback for India, playing four ODIs against New Zealand and three ODIs against England in the ongoing home season, taking nine wickets in seven matches.
